With new treatments coming out constantly, older ones can easily fade to the back, but when an innovation stands the test of time, you know it’s something special. Recently, there’s been a noticeable influx of interest in the beloved nonsurgical skin-tightening treatment Ultherapy, which uses ultrasound technology to stimulate collagen and elastin.
Multiple reports pinpoint Ultherapy as a key trend this year. Spate’s 2025 Culture report showed a jump of 1.9 million on their popularity index, growing over 47 percent in TikTok views.
Yelp’s 2026 Trend Report further indicated the increased interest in Ultherapy. The report notes that non-invasive services are up overall, including CO2 treatments, red light therapy and Sofwave. Ultherapy specifically jumped in searches on the site by 37 percent.
Furthermore, Merz, Ultherapy’s parent company, projects the skin-lifting market to grow approximately nine percent by 2030, according to Merz Custom Market Forecasting 2025. Non-invasive skin tightening has always been a hot commodity, but with many people on GLP-1s, the treatment has become even more popular, especially as Ultherapy PRIME was just FDA-approved to treat the body in addition to its prior approvals for face, neck and décolleté.
