Summer House alum Paige DeSorbo has had a change of heart. After sharing she thought she “might forgo Botox and just get a facelift when I’m 45,” the star has admitted she officially counts herself as a first-time user of the popular injectable.
As reported on by BravoTV.com, DeSorbo dished on her latest Amazon Live that she received the aesthetic treatment last week. “I didn’t tell anyone,” she revealed. “I actually didn’t even know I was going to get it when I went in for the appointment. I thought [the injector] was going to be like, ‘You don’t need it,’ but she quite actually said the opposite. And so I got it.”
A few days out and the reality star said she is liking her results: “The rumors are true. I’m obsessed with it and I knew I was going to be obsessed with it,” she said. “That’s why I didn’t do it any earlier. Because I just kept thinking it’s like tanning beds when I was in high school. If I try it once, I’m going to get addicted to it and I’m going to need it all the time. [The injector] said it should last five to six months, so we’ll see then if I go back and get it. But so far, so good.”
Always candid about her beauty routine, DeSorbo admits she’s easily influenced by her followers. “My followers know that I’m obsessed with skin, so they will message me saying, ‘Oh my God, you have to try this, you’ll love it,'” she previously told NewBeauty. “One of the things a bunch of girls were DMing me was these pimple patches, from a brand called Hero. I thought there was no way they could actually work, but I started using them, and I’m not kidding, I take them everywhere. I will wear them on the streets of New York City because you can’t even see them. Anytime I travel, they come with me.”
DeSorbo has also shared that she has friends in the right places when it comes to aesthetics. “One of my girlfriends is a nurse at a dermatologist’s office, which could not be better. She gives me a lot of HydraFacials and, at first, I was like, ‘This doesn’t really do anything, whatever.’ Then I started going to her consistently, and they are life-changing—honestly life-changing. The amount of stuff that comes out of your skin when you think it’s clean is disgusting, so I’m really into those right now. I would probably say I get them like once every two months or something.”
DeSorbo’s debut with Botox feels right in line with her beauty philosophy: curious, candid and never one to gatekeep what’s working.
