No Halloween costume, but want to look festive for the holiday weekend? Celebrity nail artist Zola Ganzorigt has you covered with a quick, chic manicure look that’s equal parts elegant and eerie.
The expert behind Hailey Bieber, Kylie Jenner, Sydney Sweeney and Sabrina Carpenter’s nails is surely cooking up something special for Halloweekend with some of her favorite clients. To create your own unique bloody chic nail set, simply follow her instructions to get a monochromatic bloody red manicure.
The “Dripping in Red” manicure features bold, glossy red tips that drip onto a matte red base. Funny enough, the spooky Halloween manicure actually uses new polishes from OPI’s holiday collection—Good Enough to Treat.
After laying down a base coat, Ganzorgit applies two layers of OPI Intelli-Gel Red Velvet Vixen ($12 regular polish). Then she adds a layer of OPI Intelli-Gel Super Matte Top Coat ($12 regular polish). Now comes the artistry. Ganzorigt mixes the Red Velvet Vixen with a bit of OPI Intelli-Gel Super Gloss No Wipe Top Coat ($24) to achieve a glossy, dimensional finish. She then delicately dots on the concoction at the top of the nail where a French tip would go, creating small droplets near the middle of the nail, then drags it toward the top with a thin blush to form drip lines.
