One of the most fun makeup products to peruse is eyeshadow palettes. The color combinations, dynamic designs and rich pigments feel like a work of art to behold before the eyeshadow is even applied. The modern-day makeup artist’s palettes are a thing of beauty, both in the package and on the eye. We’ve watched the eyeshadow palette launches of the year trickle in, and these are the most gorgeous ones taking up real estate in our minds.
The best eyeshadow palettes of 2025
Pat McGrath Gilded Nirvana: Mega Eye Shadow Palette ($72)
Pat McGrath is an undisputed icon when it comes to eyeshadow palettes, and the brand’s newest launch lives up to the excellence of its predecessors. The palette features 12 shades of gilded bliss with 10 never-before-seen exclusive shades across molten metallics, astral sparkles, radiant shimmers and rich velvets.
R.e.m. beauty x Wicked: For Good Ozian Forest Eyeshadow Palette ($60)
Take home the beauty of the Ozian Forest in Wicked: For Good with this palette developed by one of its star, Ariana Grande. Duo chromes, vibrant metallics and rich mattes bring the magic of the movie’s striking colors to life. “It’s full of magical, unexpected jewel tones, lush greens and some references to the yellow brick road,” says Grande, who notes the shade “Festivate” looks just like Glinda’s second bubble dress and holds a special place in her heart.
Sisley Phyto-Eye Palette ($125)
A reworking of Sisley’s signature zebra stripes adorns the cases of the brand’s newest eyeshadow palette, which comes in Bois de Rose and Tender Toffee colorways. The eyeshadow pigment is just as striking as the case holding it with glitter, satin and matte options. The silky formula makes application a breeze.
Makeup by Mario Ethereal Eyes Palette: Nature ($69)
The 12 shades in this palette are inspired by the power of nature’s seasonal renewal with sunlit earthy tones. Four finishes: glossy shimmered, sueded satins and mattes and natural metallics offer a lot of room to play.
Lancôme Idôle Café Crush Nude Eyeshadow Palette ($59)
As I’m typing this, I have a strawberry milk latte by my side, and I can’t help but notice the striking resemblance between my sweet caffeinated treat and this gorgeous eyeshadow palette. The palette was designed in collaboration with Sheika Daley—one of Zendaya’s go-to makeup artists. It has a delicate balance of mattes and glitters and warm and cool tones, so you can create a variety of looks. “Cafe Crush is my interpretation of a rich nude palette, designed to flatter all personalities. The perfect blend of neutral shades, from light to deep, infused with a secret ingredient only Lancôme knows: a strong pink kick,” says Daley.
Urban Decay Naked Shaped Multi-Tasking Eyeshadow Palette ($56)
Few makeup products have earned icon status as glorified as Urban Decay’s original Naked Palettes. This 2025 fresh take on Naked Palettes is offered in warm and cool tones, each palette comes with 14 shades and four different finishes. The palette was designed to help you tackle every aspect of your eye makeup, including shading, shaping, defining, sculpting and highlighting.
Prada Dimensions Holo Nude Eyeshadow ($85)
Chic and sleek, this Prada palette looks just as gorgeous on your vanity as it does applied to your face. The refillable palette comes in three new colorways—Peony, Pansy and Primula—all named for flowers. Each palette offers three neutral shades and one eccentric shade for creating leveled-up looks. Plus, the hues are inspired by iconic Prada archive prints.
Morphe ChromaPlus 6-Pan Eyeshadow Palette ($15)
Looking for gorgeous artistry at an accessible price? Morphe’s ChromaPlus Eyeshadow Palettes delivers. It comes in six different striking colorways and a fresh formulation. It’s hard to pick a favorite among the palettes. Python Code offers standout shades, while Outer Spice is a super usable palette of colors. Since they’re only $15, you could get a couple—or all six.
Lisa Eldridge Desert Gleam ($62)
Lisa Eldridge created a palette of six “sensual, sandy desert tones,” and we can’t get enough. “Inspired by the golden tones of sun-scorched landscapes and the glamorous energy of Studio 54 and infused with a touch of modern grunge, this collection promises to deliver bold, effortless beauty for the season ahead.” While there neutrals to lean on in the palette like Dunes, Acacia and Sahara we’re especially taken with the shades that are like nothing we’ve ever seen before like Firefly, which we reminds us of a shimmering honey mustard in the best way possible.
Charlotte’s Palette Of Beautifying Eye Trends ($60)
These six eyeshadow palettes were launched at the beginning of the year, but we’re still mystified by them. Each of the limited-edition palettes features nine shades that are meant to work harmoniously together and were designed with the trends of 2025 in mind. Denim Dimension is a perfect palette for the blue eye makeup trend, while Sensual Sunset has must-have shades for the summer into autumn transition.
AORA Mírame Eyeshadow Palette ($65)
Mexican-based AORA made its debut in America this spring, and the brand’s gorgeous eyeshadow palette certainly made a splash. The nine shades inspired by Mexico’s opulence are uniquely bold yet look stunning together in various shapes side by side. Users note they also love using the shades for blush and highlighter in addition to eye makeup.
Hourglass Curator Eyeshadow Palettes ($68)
The six eyeshadow palettes from Hourglass this summer were cleverly named for different iconic art movements, from Expressionist to Minimalist. Each comes with four velvety shades that pair beautifully together. Find which one (or two) fits your style and run with it.
