Lily Collins is once again taking over our feeds with her striking features and gorgeous ensembles as the fifth season of Emily in Paris premieres this week. The Parisian premiere predated the stateside one by a few days, giving French viewers early access to the new season. Collins, of course, stunned on the red carpet in Paris with old Hollywood glam that perfectly accented her boldest features.
Celebrity makeup artist Fiona Stiles, who often works with Collins, did the star’s makeup for the premiere. But before any glam came skin prep. Stiles used the upLift5 Pulsating Facial Lift Device ($349) to sculpt and tone Collins’ face for five minutes before starting skin care. She then applied viral K-beauty favorites Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream ($24) and Day Dew SPF ($18).
Then came the brows and lashes. Admittedly, “Lily has iconic brows, and I don’t have to do much to them,” Stiles says. To get them red carpet-ready, she “filled in gaps with Thrive Causemetics Instant Brow Fix Pencil ($24) in Serena and set them with Liquid Brow Lamination ($26).” As for enhancing Collins’ unbelievably long, dark lashes, Stiles used a few coats of Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Mascara ($26) in Brynn to add extra length and volume.
Let’s not forget the perfect French-girl red lip Collins wore to the premiere. To get the right shade, Stiles combined two shades of Thrive Causemetice Empower Matte Lipstick Crayon ($28)—Rosa, a deep red, blended with the shade Brandy, a rich brown—to create a beautiful deep tone.
